History of Marijuana Seeds
From what can be determined, marijuana seeds (hemp plant) originated in Asia along the Himalayas or Altai Mountains. The exact origin is not known.
In China, during the Neolithic period about 6,500 years ago the Yang-shao used it for many things; the clothes they wore, fishing nets and roes for machines to name a few.
At one time hemp clothing signified wealth. When silk was discovered, hemp became the clothing of the masses.
Early China also used the marijuana seeds (hemp) plant for more than just clothing-it was also one of their primary seed crops along with barely and soybeans.
The way they prepared the weed seeds was by grinding it into a meal (marijuana seeds brownies), roasted whole like sun flower seeds or cooked in the cereal.
